How to Play Rewind That!

Here's what you'll need:

A host device:

A computer, tablet, or phone to launch and control the game.

A shared screen:

A TV, projector, or computer screen everyone can see.

Phones for answering:

Players use their phones to join a team and submit answers.

Two teams:

Gather your crew and divide into two teams. We recommend 5–6 players per team for the best experience.

Sound:

Make sure everyone can hear the game, especially when music is part of the challenge. We recommend connecting to a Bluetooth speaker for the best quality.

1. Step 1: Pick Your Game

   The host logs into Rewind That!, selects a game, and starts the session.

2. Step 2: Squad Up

   Two team QR codes appear on the shared screen. Players scan the code for their team using their phones and join the game.

   Choose your team names and get ready to compete!

3. Step 3: Battle It Out!

   Once both teams are ready, the host starts the game. Questions appear on the shared screen, and players use their phones to submit answers.

Before you start, here's how the competition works.

1. Take turns. Teams alternate answering questions. Only the active team can submit an answer.
2. Talk it out. Work with your teammates to choose your answer before time runs out.
3. Lock it in. Submit one final answer for your team. Once it's locked, there's no changing it.
4. No cheating! No Googling, Shazam, or outside help. And if it's not your team's turn, no shouting out answers or giving hints.
5. Take your best shot. If time runs out before you submit an answer, you won't earn any points. So don't be afraid to guess!

Every game has three rounds, with standard and bonus questions.

Here's how each turn works:

1. The question appears on the shared screen, and the countdown begins.
2. The active team discusses the question and submits its answer using a team phone.
3. When the question ends, the correct answer is revealed, along with a fun fact.
4. Points are awarded for correct answers, and the next team takes its turn.

Correct answers earn points. Wrong answers or unanswered questions earn zero. No points are deducted.
